Aspen Care would like to say “Thank You”, a message of gratitude

The pandemic has been a challenge for many people, businesses, and the world. Through this, we’ve witnessed the resilience of communities, families, and human beings in the last two years. We’ve come out of this tougher than ever, bring it on world! Though COVID-19 is not over, we still face many challenges ahead and the world is still shaky while recovering from global shutdowns, turmoil, and tensions. Every day we think of how lucky we are to live and work in Canada. We have a well of gratitude for our country and for the people who live here. In the last two years, we’ve accomplished more than we could have ever imagined as a company, and we learned a lot from going with the flow of things and pivoting when needed. As Ross from Friends would say, we must “PIVOT, PIVAT, PIVAT!"

Over the last two years, we published and created a product from scratch - My Health Journals was born! With the help of a grant, we gifted more than half of our 1st edition inventory to nursing homes, nonprofit seniors organizations, and health organizations. With amazing feedback from customers like you, we’ve revised our first edition and designed our second edition which is printing as we speak. Doors are opening for us and we remain grateful for all of the opportunities that have come our way with the launch of our journals. Within the last two years, we’ve had to shut down our home care practice many times, ensuring we keep our clients and staff safe from the virus and transmission. We’re so thrilled to be back in business and operational with happy clients and happy staff back at work. This was a challenge for us as it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we trusted that we would be back working with our amazing clients again. Many of our clients also faced uncertainty and isolation these last couple of years. Failing to have real connections can be discouraging and a great challenge for many. And if we learned anything from this pandemic, it is that nothing lasts forever and this too shall pass. We must remain hopeful, grateful, and trust the process - life throws curveballs our way every day. Connection is the root of happiness and we hope that our clients can be with their families, and friends and back into the community (safely of course). Aspen Care is here for you, for our clients and staff who need reassurance and support - we’re a phone call away.

To our clients: there is light through the darkness and this too shall pass.

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who helped us these last two years. From our staff, contractors, manufacturers, advisors, clients, friends, and family - we couldn’t have done it without you! Here’s to a great rest of 2022 and a flourishing summer to all - thank you!
